Overnight Horseback Ride

Enjoy a nice horseback riding experience with cowboy and cowgirl guides providing for your cares while taking you back to nature and days of ole.

Overnight horseback rides are scheduled in line with our Wild West Show nights.   Overnight camp riders arrive on site at 1:00 P.M. with only a few items for necessity. Your belongings will be loaded on our hay-wagon for delivery to your campsite while you take off on the start of your Smokies riding adventure.

  The first part of your ride will be the Wild-Side.  Rapping up this thrilling ride, you will return to the barn where you catch our hay wagons to your campsite for set up then shortly thereafter you join up with the rest of the group at the Wild West Show site.  Enjoy lots of outdoors cooking and live entertainment, western style.  If your lucky enough not to be mistaken as a bandit, you will return for your next horseback trail ride.

  Your next big adventure is the Night Ride.  Ride up into the wilderness of the mountains, come down thru the valleys and wade thru the mountain creeks. This night ride will definitely cure all your ills back home and then some. At least tonight. When finished tonight you may set by the campfire and enjoy hot dogs and marshmallows to your liking. Tell stories about your adventurous night ride to others around you. But don't stay up to late because the morning comes early with breakfast on an open pit campfire.

You thought your dinner was good, wait until you sink your chops into the best breakfast on an open camp-fire. Enjoy good hot campfire coffee along with all the fixings and then it's time to saddle up for your next adventure!

The Mountain Adventure trail will take you thru valleys, streams over wooden country bridges, and along mountain streams to the tops of the mountain ridges overlooking the valleys and mountains, of course. What an exciting ride, what a trip to remember and tell about back home.

Shoes must cover entire foot, no platforms
Tent, sleeping bag, pillow
Flashlight/lantern - no glass
Insect repellent
Change of clothing (appropriate to weather)
Game like cards, etc (if wanted)
  • No phone lines available, you may bring a cellular phone if you desire.  Please respect others by turning phones to vibrate

  • Items, other than bedding, must fit in a backpack or bag

  • Pillow etc. can be fitted inside your sleeping bag/covers for convenience

  • Reservations for this ride must be made at least 1 week in advance

  • Absolutely no pets allowed
